When we embark on a new journey, it is often the transformation we undergo that becomes the cornerstone of our story. My name is Vitalis Dabori, and this is my transformational tale with EMPAC – Emperors Academy, a renowned I.T training school in Ghana.

Finding EMPAC

Hailing from Northern Ghana, I was someone who had no rapport with technology. Computers were alien devices, and my knowledge about them was virtually non-existent. But destiny led me to a YouTube advertisement about EMPAC. It wasn't just another ad; it felt like a call to action. With hope and determination, I applied and, to my delight, was granted admission.

The Beginning of a New Era

Stepping into EMPAC, what struck me immediately was the aura of the place, brimming with passion. The teachers were not just instructors; they were mentors who were deeply invested in our growth. Under the tutelage of Sir Redeemer, we started our computer basics course. From the rudimentary understanding of computing to practical applications like Windows installation and setting up essential software, we were slowly but surely being molded into tech-savvy individuals.

Our journey with Microsoft Suite was particularly enlightening. The vast potential of tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access was revealed to us. From designing graphics with Word and PowerPoint to creating simple programs, the possibilities seemed endless. The prowess of Excel formulas and the array of functions it offers were astounding.

Diving Deeper

As our curriculum evolved, so did our skillset. Sir Redeemer introduced us to the world of graphic design using Adobe Photoshop. The ability to create mesmerizing graphics was now at our fingertips. Next came web design, and under the guidance of Sir Emmanuel, we delved deep into content management systems like WordPress. Building websites, be it personal blogs or full-fledged e-commerce sites integrated with multiple payment gateways, became second nature.

Blogging and Beyond

Sir David unlocked the world of blogging for us. From understanding the intricacies of what a blog is, its history, to practical sessions on Blogger and WordPress platforms, the journey was thoroughly enlightening. My most revered lesson was employing generative AI, such as ChatGPT, for content creation. Despite not being a seasoned writer, I confidently generate a myriad of content pieces, from articles and proposals to business plans.

Monetizing Skills

Every skill we acquired was not just for knowledge's sake. EMPAC emphasized the practical and commercial aspect. Through Google Adsense, I could monetize my blogs, witnessing real financial returns from my endeavors. Moreover, digital product creation and freelancing avenues were explored, teaching us to navigate platforms like Fiverr and Upwork.

Our current foray into digital marketing promises an even brighter future. With advanced SEO techniques and ad setups on platforms like Google, Facebook, and YouTube, the world of digital marketing unfolds before us.

The Transformation

Today, even as a student, I earn at least $200 monthly from Google Adsense. More than the financial aspect, it's the self-confidence and expertise I've garnered that's invaluable. From a novice, EMPAC has transformed me into someone proficient in a plethora of IT skills.

Looking Ahead: Digital Marketing and Future Aspirations

My journey at EMPAC isn't over. Currently, I am diving into the world of digital marketing, learning the nuances of ads setup across various platforms and unraveling SEO strategies. With every lesson, my blogs' rankings improve, and my Adsense earnings witness a boost. The future indeed looks promising.
